Self-Made Canadians: Beverly Mascoll Segment

Celebrating the black beauty business icon Beverly Mascoll! Beverly Mascoll pioneered the black beauty industry in Toronto today. She broke barriers at a racially charged time throughout the 1970s-late 1990’s, making way for hundreds of black beauty supply stores and shops and employing numerous people from the African diaspora. This story has been a privilege to work on as a production team. I’m deeply inspired as a fellow black woman in business! I’m sure you’ll be inspired too. Segment aired on OMNI and Rogers Television.
